Following poor performance in almost league games after leaving the T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistan cricket team set off their return trip from Florida. The players left for Pakistan on Tuesday following an unannounced early withdrawal from the tournament.

After stopping in Dubai, the team will head for other places all throughout Pakistan. Six squad members—Captain Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, Imad Wasim, Azam Khan, and Mohammad Amir—are notably not accompanying their colleagues.

Early hours of June 19, the players are supposed to land down in Pakistan But Captain Babar Azam will be going home later, in June 22.

Head Coach Gary Kirsten is expected to return home following the World Cup assignment; Mohammad Amir intends to stay in the United States for a few days before making his way to England to join the Derbyshire.

For the ‘Green Shirts,’ who fell short of moving past the league level, the T20 World Cup 2024 proved difficult. Originally in their advantage, the team lost shockingly to the United States and also gave up a game to India. Their season was disappointedly ended with this double setback, which stopped their progress to the Super 8 round.
