Pakistan Tour of West Indies. Pakistan vs West Indies 2021 Cricket Matches Schedule

Cricket West Indies said Sunday  the schedule for the T20I series against  Pakistan series has been revised and the the number of matches have been reduced from five to four.

“The adjustment […] was necessary due to the changes to the fixtures for the ongoing ODI series between West Indies and Australia, which are part of the International Cricket Council’s ODI Super League, which concludes on July 26,” it added.

Matches Schedule as follow:

Jul 28 – 1st T20I, Kensington Oval, Barbados

Jul 31 – 2nd T20I, Guyana National Stadium, Guyana

Aug 1 – 3rd T20I, Guyana National Stadium, Guyana

Aug 3 – 4th T20I, Guyana National Stadium, Guyana

Aug 6-7 – Two-day practice match, Guyana

Aug 12-16 – 1st Test, Sabina Park, Jamaica

Aug 20-24 – 2nd Test, Sabina Park, Jamaica

 

  • Pakistan and West Indies will face off in two Tests and four T20 Internationals from July 28 to August 24, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced Friday.

Pakistan Cricket Board today confirmed its men’s national cricket team’s tour to the West Indies, which will take place from 28 July to 24 August and comprise four T20 Internationals and two Tests.

Tests: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Abdullah Shafique, Abid Ali, Azhar Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Fawad Alam, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Imran Butt, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Nauman Ali, Sajid Khan, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Saud Shakeel, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shahnawaz Dahani, Yasir Shah, and Zahid Mahmood.

PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan: “The tour to the West Indies is always a valued and prized tour for the Pakistan cricket teams. The Caribbean cricket history, backed up by the excellent playing facilities, supporting crowds and great ambiance, encourages and motivates the players to produce their very best.

Pakistan will join the likes of South Africa and Australia to become the third international team to tour West Indies this summer season. Pakistan will play four T20Is and two Test matches in July-August to culminate West Indies’ grand home summer.

 

The last time that Pakistan had toured West Indies was for an all-format tour in 2017. The last day of the tour is fondly remembered for the international retirements of former captains and current part of the support staff in Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq.
