Afridi shared a picture on his X account (which used to be Twitter) of Babar sat next to him in his car. Babar had the most points in the event. He got 569 runs in 11 innings, with five fiftys and a hundred to help him. His average was 56.90.
It was clear that Zalmi would win the event, but they lost both of their knockout games, to Multan Sultans and Islamabad United.Babar has scored the most runs for Pakistan in this style. With 33 fifties and three hundreds, he has made 3749 runs in 105 innings.
Always keep in mind that he was made captain again before the New Zealand series, while Shaheen Afridi was fired right after the first series. It’s important to note that Babar is currently in charge of Pakistan’s five-match T20I series against New Zealand.
There are still two games to be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, and the series is tied at 1-1. Pakistan lost the third T20I by seven wickets, and Babar scored more runs than Aaron Finch to become the T20I leader with the most runs.
