Lionel Messi, the Argentine star striker, has partnered with Lowe’s, a prominent home improvement retailer, since his reputation in the United States has grown since he began playing for Inter Miami CF last year.

According to the agreement, the North Carolina-based shop chain will become Inter Miami’s official home improvement partner. The hardware store has partnered with the South American football competition Copa America, in which Messi, 36, will compete.
In a marketing campaign to reach football lovers, Lowe’s announced on its website Thursday: “To capture the hearts and minds of consumers through a shared love of football, Lowe’s is delivering a hat trick for football fans.” Lowe’s has partnered with the world’s best soccer player, Lionel Messi, Major League Soccer Club Inter Miami CF, and the forthcoming CONMEBOL Copa América 2024 USA.
“Messi is not only the best player in the world who can score a goal on a dime. But he’s also the top assister in history, with over 350 assists throughout his career,” Sportico cited Gerardo Soto as stating.
Soto, Lowe’s vice president of brand marketing and sports alliances, went on to say that “partnering with Leo perfectly reflects Lowe’s shared passion for assisting our customers.”
The United States men’s national football team will host Brazil in a friendly match on June 12 after facing Colombia at FedExField in Landover, Maryland on June 9.
The COPA America 2024 will begin on June 20 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
According to Fox Sports, the final will take place on July 14 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, with matches hosted in 14 cities around the United States.
