New ICC T20 rankings favor Pakistani players

A number of Pakistani players have experienced advancements in their standings within the most recent Twenty20 rankings, as reported by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Babar Azam, captain of the Green Shirts, is currently ranked fourth on the ICC rankings with a rating of 763. This is one position below Mohammad Rizwan, the Green Shirts wicket-keeper batsman, who is regarded as the third-best Twenty20 batsman globally.

Babar’s ascent in the rankings is a result of his outstanding performance in the recently concluded home series against New Zealand, during which he accumulated 125 runs to finish as the leading scorer.
