Shaheen tops ICC T20I bowler rankings. Pakistan’s best pacer, Shaheen Shah Afridi, has become the country’s highest-rated T20I bowler, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC)’s newest rankings update on Wednesday, inspiring all aspiring cricketers.

Shaheen rose two spots to 17th in T20I bowling. The ICC announced in a press statement that Shaheen rose two ranks to 17th overall for T20I bowlers after his good start to Pakistan’s T20I series at home against New Zealand, where he is the leading wicket-taker through three matches.
“The pacer took the only wicket in the opening match of the series that was ruined by rain, and his haul of 3/13 in Pakistan’s decisive seven-wicket win over the Kiwis in the second game has led to the rise up the rankings and past teammate and fellow quick Haris Rauf in 22nd place
England’s Adil Rashid is number one, while New Zealand’s Ish Sodhi rose five spots to 18th after three wickets in the Pakistan series.
Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav leads the T20I rankings, with Tim Seifert and Mark Chapman also rising.
“Opener Tim Seifert rises three places to 24th, while teammate Mark Chapman is the big improver after his unbeaten half-century and Player of the Match heroics in the third game of the series in Pakistan,” the ICC said
Chapman hammered 87* from 42 deliveries in an outstanding individual performance with the bat and rose 12 places to 33rd overall with a quartet of big sixes.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam fell to fifth in T20I batter rankings. Mohammad Rizwan remains third.
